A Fabulous start to 2015

A Belated Happy New Year for 2015 to everyone!! It has been a busy but very exciting start to the new year for us all at Partridge Farm Meats. Our Posh Kebab Company has been very successful and we are now taking bookings for Private parties, Weddings and corporate events as well as being booked up for lots of Street food markets and food festivals. We start the Festival season off with a bang on March 1st with Frome Independent market and will be trading there on the first Sunday of every month with our ‘Posh Kebabs’ You can’t beat our award winning grass fed Aberdeen Angus beef, sliced into steaks, marinaded and cooked on a spit then sliced into Greek Pitta wraps with our homemade tatziki and a variety of chilli sauces!!! Not only is the taste sensational but they are also a healthy alternative!! So watch out for our Posh Kebab Company we are going to be popping up all over the South West over the next few months!! Last Thursday morning we were very proud to find out we had won the Countryside Alliance Butcher award for the South West!!! Our very own Rural Oscar!!! Both Duncan & I were absolutely taken aback but both extremely proud and happy to have had such recognition!! Thank you so very much to all our customers, family & friends for all your support. We are very excited to be going to London for the finals where we get to meet all the other award winners from around the country and share our success stories.

Exeter Food & Drink Photo Shoot with Michael Caines

We had a brilliant afternoon out from the farm last week at the Royal Clarance Hotel for the ¬†Exeter Food & Drink Photo Shoot with Michael Caines along with some other fabulous producers who will be at the Exeter F & D Fest such as Andie & Francescca from Frandie Macaron & Delifarm Charcuterie’s Judith Edwards.

The sun shone and we actually had blue skies for the occasion which made a lovely break from the horrendous weather we had been having!! Lambing is now well underway on the farm we have had lots of twins born and all are doing well!

Calving has also started and so far we have 3 cracking pure Aberdeen Angus Calves all growing into very strong little characters!! We will have more of our award winning grass fed Aberdeen Angus Beef available from the middle of March along with more rare breed Pork & Lamb.

We would like to wish a very Happy New Year to all of our customers. Due to a hectic festive season, we are not taking orders for fresh meat during January, so the butchery will be closed.

We still have frozen meat, so call 01884 242657 or email hannah@ for more details, but do not make any internet orders.
